Ep.7 - Cauri Jaye - Taking Care Of Evil Knievel

Episode 7 with cauri jaye. As I said last week I’ve often told Lynn that I think she teaches storytelling like we learn to ride a bike. No amount of the academic theory of cycling will ever prepare you for that moment when you climb aboard a bicycle. And this week cauri’s story takes this concept even further, as I’m pretty sure Evil Knievel didn’t learn to jump buses by studying Newton’s laws of motion…

cauri's Bio:

"cauri jaye – co-founder of rhubarb studios, an innovation lab and venture builder to launch businesses for entrepreneurs, scale businesses for startups and create incubators for enterprises."

YouTellYours.com is Lynn Ferguson’s vehicle to teach her authentic storytelling techniques. Once or twice a month we have a storytelling event in Burbank, California where YouTellYours students tell their stories in front of a live, theatre audience - without notes or props.

From the beginning Mark has been recording these events, mainly for fun and for posterity…  but as he also runs QuirkyBranding.com, helping small to medium sized companies with their video and digital marketing, he couldn’t not share this great content.  After all it’s always the quirky stuff that get shared!

Ep. 6 - Michelle C Bonilla - One Summer In Texas.

Episode 6 with Michelle C Bonilla. I’ve often told Lynn that I think she teaches storytelling like we learn to ride a bike. No amount of the academic theory of cycling will ever prepare you for that moment when you climb aboard a bicycle. So it feels good that Michelle’s first story with YouTellYours starts with that very moment on a bicycle...

8sq-_Michelle_C_Bonilla.jpg

Michelle's Bio:

"Michelle C. Bonilla – A Los Angeles Native, Hollywood to be exact, Michelle was destined to work as a actor. And, has been doing so, in film, television, and commercials, for over 24 years. She’s had some great breaks along the way, one stepping into a show called “ER” for 12 seasons, playing a paramedic who saved a lot of people and said a lot of medical jargon. Bonilla loves spending time with her dogs, Prince and Myles, and her fabulous partner, Carol. Michelle would love to thank Lynn for the gentle guidance in the art of storytelling - to open another channel of creative expression that is completely humbling, terrifying, yet gratifying. Thank you to the other storytellers for your incredible courage with sharing your stories with me."
